Terms of Use
Last updated: August 28, 2026
1. Acceptance of the terms
By accessing or using Wricopu, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
2. The service
Wricopu provides tools for creating, editing, compiling, organizing, storing, previewing, importing, and exporting LaTeX projects and related files.
3. User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
Information provided during registration must be accurate and must not be used to impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the project files, documents, source code, bibliographies, images, and other content that you upload or create through Wricopu.
You grant Wricopu only the limited rights necessary to process, store, compile, transmit, back up, recover, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Wricopu to violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, abuse infrastructure resources, access another user's information without authorization, or perform activities that materially disrupt the platform.
6. Compilation environment
LaTeX compilation is performed within controlled infrastructure. Wricopu may enforce limits on processing time, memory, file size, storage, network access, processes, or other resources to maintain security and service availability.
7. Plans and limits
Certain features may be subject to account, project, storage, compilation, usage, or subscription limits. Wricopu may modify available plans and limits as the service evolves.
8. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, infrastructure failures, or circumstances outside our control may temporarily affect availability.
9. Backups and exports
Wricopu may maintain backups for operational recovery. Users should also maintain their own copies of important work and may use available project export functions to preserve portable copies.
10. Intellectual property
The Wricopu service, branding, original interface, software, documentation, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These rights do not transfer ownership of user-created project content to Wricopu.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where necessary to address security issues, legal requirements, abuse, non-payment, serious violations of these terms, or risks to other users or infrastructure.
12. Disclaimer
Wricopu is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, warranties that cannot be reasonably provided for an online software service are excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wricopu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from use of or inability to use the service.
14. Changes to these terms
These Terms of Use may be updated as Wricopu evolves. Material changes may be communicated through the service or other appropriate channels.
15. Contact
Questions concerning these terms may be submitted through the official Wricopu contact channel.
